They Shimmer Like The Morning Sun :)

Last Sunday was my very first day serving the ministry. It was thrilling, trust me. By the way, if you guys still have no idea which church I go to, I attend New Creations Church (NCC) since last October, and some call it The Rock. I joined the Nursery Department (Toddler section) of NCC's Children's Ministry as I've always wanted to, since...I don't remember when. But I did not have the courage and the right chance to, till an opening held just not long ago. The toddlers I met and took care of, are a group of cute little princes and princesses of 15-29 months, and yes! They shimmer like the morning sun, so pure and radiant, and their smiles could melt the largest snow cap you can find on planet Earth...so wonderful they are, you won't even notice it's six to seven solid hours of babysitting a group of hyperactive kids.

To be honest, I was genuinely nervous and stressed up at first, like even a month ago. Cuz, some of you might not have known, I'm phobic to (nah, not the kids) jobs. I tend to get really stressed up just at the thoughts of not being able to meet the expectations of the boss (the church), my colleagues and the clients (the parents). And to be really honest, I crumble at the thoughts of people disapproving me. So I prayed, for Daddy to give me the wisdom to do it right and shower me with His grace - unmerited favour and goodness. But guess what? Of all days, I had to be very late on that very day. Hence the more I broke out into cold sweat and prayed as hard as I could, while having informed my team leader about my lateness. I rushed towards the nursery as fast as I could while praying for His peace, and I was mentally preparing myself for some condemning stares, especially from the team leader; but to my pleasant surprise, I was greeted by a big warm smile instead. The team is great and mah Daddy's superb! ;)

Back to the princes and princesses...they surely are the most lovable being around, at least to meee! Have you guys ever asked yourselves who in the whole world's the most humble? Yep! All 'em kiddies! They're the most pure, innocent and kind-hearted ones too I'm sure ;) Really looking forward to meeting em again. Shalom :)
