And It's All About...

These are my stories. From zero to, prayerfully, the more-than-conquerer I am born to be.

Defining P.O.W.E.R. (Part II)

It's *REALLY FUN!* to have FRESH realisation EVERY DAY, in my own progress in the Lord ^^ How I grow to CRAVE and THIRST for God's words and presence more and more! Pastor Prince once shared that this is one of the signs that one has received WISDOM from the Holy Spirit. HALLELUJAH! ^^

Following are the verses that I was reading from my NCC notebook, during little intervals in today's team meeting actually :p Anyway, this shows how hungry and thirsty I have become. Every moment that I can, I will read, and reflect and meditate on the Word
^^

John 10:14

Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on my own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works.

John 15:7

If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

[John 10:14, John 15:7] Jesus saith in the above verse, when He was still the Son of man, that the Father dwelleth in Him. He emphasized that He did not speak on His own authority, but the Father does the work.

See if even Jesus look not upon Himself but upon the Father who dwelleth in Him, and whom speaketh and worketh through Him; how much more should we stop talking about us and start talking about HIM who today dwells in us!

I believe Jesus wants us to place the weight unto Him who dwells in us, and have faith that when we speak, we speak not on our own authority but His, and the Father does the work through us! Praise God!

John 14:23
Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.'

[John 14:23] To me, Jesus is saying, "Love Me by keeping My Word." Simple? Simple :)
No wonder Jesus saith, "My yoke is easy, My burden is light." Praise the Lord!

And then I was thinking to myself, who in the Bible, besides Jesus Himself of course, can I look up to, as an elder/ example I can learn from. Someone strong in the character of a great encourager :) Then I realised I have been extracting verses from the Book of John (the above verses).

If I haven't recalled wrongly, Pastor Prince once taught
, of all the twelve disciples, John was the one closest to Jesus' heart. He loved to call himself the disciple whom Jesus loves. Hmm. Perhaps I should read up about him more. Hee ;p

YOUR WORD IS MY LIFE,
O DEAR LORD.
