A Moment Like This
i was at the rock bookstore to get a cd i had in mind for a colleague, in the hope to bless him and his loved ones in this season of testing. then as usual, i would browse around for good books. i thought i would just take a look. then i stumbled upon a book, which title i prefer to keep for now. i believe it was through the guidance of my dear Friend that i decided on this particular book; despite having browsed a few good ones. i did not even intend to get such a book in the first place. it's all good.
i know and i know and i just know that my dear Friend has something exciting in store for me. i read the book with full attention and at my highest possible speed, with full expectation of an adventure into the new world of knowledge and insights, like a new born always exploring with a fresh mind. indeed the book opened my eyes to many stories i did not have the least idea of. stories that revealed many new perspectives that i, and all women out there, should consider carefully. why? because they are life-changing. really.
today, i am halfway through the book. undeniably, as much as it is a relief to be in the know of things i did not know; knowing also means greater responsibilities i am accountable for.
i pray today the prayer of King Soloman, that Daddy God will bless me with an understanding heart, sharp discernment and wisdom in speech; a heart that loves unconditionally, lips that speaketh rivers of living waters, and actions that reflects His glory - that blesses and not condemns, gives life to the hearts and quenches the thirsty souls. In Jesus mighty name I pray, amen!
JESUS LIVES!
